Deliver on time, with fewer expedites

A late part gets expensive fast: premium freight, overtime, and customer orders that ship late. Cartograph catches it early, while the fix is still cheap, and does the chasing for you.

A late part costs more every day. Here’s where the margin goes

  • Expedites and premium freight

The later you find a shortage, the fewer options you have, and the more the fix costs.

  • Overtime and reshuffled schedules

Waiting on parts means moving jobs around the floor and paying overtime to catch up.

  • Late customer orders

One late part can hold up a customer order, and with it revenue and the customer’s trust.

Four levers protect it. Cartograph works all four

Fix late deliveries while they’re still cheap to fix

Cartograph checks every open order against when you need the parts, and flags the ones that will arrive too late, days or weeks ahead.

  • Each flag says when the part is needed and when it will arrive
  • Scout Agent asks the supplier to expedite
  • The recovery date goes back to your ERP once it’s approved

Cut premium freight and expedite fees

Scout Agent looks for the cheapest way to recover, by email or on the phone, and never agrees to a cost without you.

  • Asks for options like a partial shipment or a courier
  • Brings any cost to your team for approval
  • Keeps the supplier’s answer on the record

Resolve wrong or short deliveries fast

When a delivery doesn’t match the order, Cartograph opens a task right away, and Scout Agent asks the supplier how they’ll make it right.

  • Catches short or wrong deliveries as they’re received
  • Asks the supplier when the rest will ship
  • Keeps your team in the loop until it’s closed

Keep customer orders shipping on time

Cartograph links each part to the customer orders that need it, so you know which late deliveries matter most, and work those first.

  • See which customer orders depend on a supplier
  • Put the orders that hold up a customer shipment first
  • Give sales a straight answer on when it ships

How we estimate this

An illustration, not a customer benchmark. Delivery: 30% of expedite and premium freight spend avoided by catching late orders earlier.

How it works. Three steps, and you stay in control

  1. Connect

Connect your ERP and inbox. Cartograph sets itself up from your orders, parts, and suppliers, with nothing to migrate.

  2. Spot

Cartograph checks every open order and part, and flags what needs attention, with the reason and what's at stake.

  3. Act

Scout Agent does the follow-up within the permissions you set. You approve anything significant, and every step is logged.

Your team sets the limits. Test Scout Agent first without a supplier seeing anything, then decide what Scout may do without asking

FAQ

Cartograph compares when each open order will arrive with when its part runs short. When the order lands after that date, a readiness signal opens an expedite task. Cartograph doesn't predict delays. It works from the data already on your records.

Scout Agent follows your expedite playbook. The starter playbook measures how late or short each line is, checks the cheaper internal fixes first, such as other inbound orders or stock at another site, then asks each supplier for recovery options with cost and a new date, including an earlier date, a partial shipment, a split, alternate stock or a substitute. A person on your team decides. Your team can change the playbook.

Your team does. The starter playbook requests approval before the expedite goes ahead, and any email or call that matches one of your approval rules waits for a person. You can decline with a reason, such as asking the supplier to split the shipment first.

Another readiness signal opens a task when an order will arrive well before it's needed, so your team can delay or reduce it.

Yes. Once the date is approved, it's updated on the order in your ERP. You choose which fields Cartograph may update, and every update is logged.

Yes. The readiness signals for orders take exceptions, such as skipping orders from one supplier. Exceptions are read in order and the first match wins. Orders that match none follow the usual timing.
